P.S. I've been experimenting using my camera in "manual" mode where I have to determine the aperture setting, for example. When I got the dumb idea of putting Darby in the pot, I should have switched the camera to auto mode so the camera could worry about exposure, focus, etc., while I worried about keeping Darby from trying to jump out. She is always so sweet and resigned to antics like this, I just didn't have the heart to put her back in the pot so I could get better photos!

Ahhh...That long suffering Cardiface.....I think they practice that look when we aren't around just to be sure to get it right!
You're a good sport, Darby. We see you Pumpkin looking in to see what's going on.
We planted a 'patio pumpkin' in a pot this year, but it didn't grow. Maybe next year we'll try a patio darby!

Oh...oh...too cute, too funny. Darby has that same slightly bewildered, but ever willing, expression that my Pippin has when i drape him in newly strung necklaces. He looks lovely....and so does she !
