Sunday
We humans spent a good part of the day on Sunday hanging out in the shade outside. Sometimes the dog-girls joined us in the shade and sometimes they didn't.
Sometimes a lizard or bird caught their eyes and they leaped up and ran after it.
They worked hard at catching whatever they were chasing, but didn't succeed.
Then, they settled back down in the shade.
It was a nice afternoon.

My guys are exactly the same, always busy keeping the wildlife at bay! They would love it if we had a doggy-door installed as then they could do it 24 hours/day. Of course the house would then become a mud-pit, so they aren't ever gonna get one :-)

It's all in the CHASE! We rarely catch anything, but we love to try...
Sounds like a lazy afternoon. Hope you had a good book....although just staring out into the garden is relaxing, too.
