Harry update

I thought you might like to know how Harry is doing.  (Thank you, Lois, for the information about the supplement you give your dogs that is also available for cats.  I'll look into it.)

After four days on the medication and in the Cone of Shame, the plaques are slowly -- very slowly -- clearing up.  The itching must be going away because when I give Harry supervised time without the cone, he doesn't seem as interested in licking the area.

I know he doesn't like the cone, but he is such a sweet cat, that he stands calmly and lets me put it on him.  He is getting much better at wandering the house wearing the cone and he rarely gets the cone stuck anymore.

This creature...

is still VERY interested in the cone.

and the contents of the cone!

So far, no one has hissed or barked.  When he's had enough, Harry just shakes his head which rattles the cone and makes the pest jump back.

While it seems Harry is getting used to the cone, I still find him every now and then looking very dejected.

I wonder if he is day-dreaming about a time when he will again be able to quickly and easily climb to the top of the kitchen cabinets to escape the girls!
Poor, sweet Harry!
