Maklng the most of what she has

Before you go any further, you have to promise to look past all the piled up junk in these photos taken in the junk-yard side of our yard. I normally wouldn't be taking photos over there -- and the yard normally wouldn't be quite this messy -- but Glenn is building a gate to replace the one that normally hides this part of the yard and until the new gate is in place, our junk-yard is out there for all the world to see.

And, for the dogs to play around in.

Darby has turned the area into her own agility course

In this photo she has just run at breakneck speed from behind me (the photographer) around the giant pile of firewood at the end of the table and is running between the stack of firewood and the wall,

out between the end of the stack of firewood and the old lawn mower,

under the table,

past Pumpkin and through the gate opening into the main backyard,

and up onto the wall.

Here, on another run, she is about to jump over the tangle of garden hose, but at the last moment she decides to run around it instead.

Here's a photo of her next to the pile of hose.  She jumps clear over the hose -- at the widest point!  I've just never managed to get a photo of her doing it, darn it!

But, I did manage to catch this shot of her jumping up onto the wall:

Looks to me like she is going to miss the wall, but she nails it!

It seems this dog-girl of mine is a fool for agility and if her lazy ol' mother won't drag out the agility equipment often enough, she'll just make the most of what she has!
