Frisky
Although the last few days have been very hot, the mornings have been deliciously cool. Frisky weather. The kind of weather I learned requires that horses be turned out to buck and snort and run a bit before they are asked to carry a child (MY child!) through a morning riding lesson.

I pretty much grew up on horseback and can attest to how frisky the horses get when the weather cools! They left me in the dirt on more than a few occasions! But, broken bones notwithstanding, I would never trade those days/memories. Oh, my, how I loved those long days on horseback!
