Day Lilies

We have some very impressive stands of day lilies in our backyard and they are blooming again.

The fun thing about them is that I never planted them! 

Years ago, I grabbed some seed pods a neighbor had cut and discarded, and I sprinkled the seeds around the side yard.   They took root, and now, a few years later, they are doing so well I would consider them pests if they weren't so pretty!

I think the dogs are pretty, too!
