The week past -- on the West Coast

While the past week brought a wonderful snow day to Erika and her pack, the much tamer weather here on the West Coast still produced some pretty skies.  Here are some photos of those skies and some other examples of late winter here in very southern Southern California.

Pumpkin looks very furtive...what's she up to?

Skies look beautiful...and there's just something about a fire.

I love your photography. I am a sucker for sunsets, clouds, lakes, and CORGIS too. LMPP and I live in Temecula. Are you nearby? This has been a chilly couple of days. But nothing like all of the 'Corgis playing in the snow' videos that have been posted lately. I have a terrible confession. Even though I am a mature woman, I have been in the snow for probably no more than a dozen times in my life. I definitely prefer the tropics. So, I don't know what to make of the Corgis running through snow mazes and the like. It looks like fun for all. I am still a bit skeptical.

Daisy, that Pumpkin-girl is always up to something! Miss Pudgy Paws, we live outside El Cajon. If you've lived in Temecula most of your live, you haven't had much opportunity to play in the snow!
