Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness in the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse. ~ Henry Van Dyke.
"What great, good, fortune.", this is what my dear mother used to say when she would see someone with a healthy, or uncommonly attractive family. Actually, she said it whenever she saw happy people. So when I saw this post, my first thoughts were, 'what great, good fortune you have.' Then I spent a moment remembering my mother. And I took the time to say, 'what great, good, fortune'. Only this time I referred to myself. Rebecca & LMPP
Daisy, I love the three sets of eyes going in three directions. Rebecca, yes! What great good fortune I have. Not perfect, but great good. I'm glad you feel you do, too and I'm glad my photos brought your mom to mind.
