I know this sounds strange, but...

...I refer to these as "Netanyahu moments."

I'm sure that some people who read this blog -- maybe even many of them -- don't believe Mr. Netanyahu is an advocate for peace, but what can I do about my subconscious?  When I see these three beasties of mine together like this -- nearby, but in an uneasy truce --Netanyahu's name pops into my head.   The fact that one false move can cause them to erupt makes the analogy to the Israeli/Arab conflicts even more apt, I think.  The big difference, I guess, is that my beasties don't fight to kill or even to injure.

Wow, definitely looks like an uneasy standoff. Watch out for the unexpected zoomies!

These scenes in my house, however brief, remind me of the Peaceable Kingdom. :) I am particularly struck by Darby's coat in this photo; so gorgeous!

At our house it's usually just a break to strategize before the next attack!
