Update on the Gopher Wars

Score:  Leda 10; gophers 0

I'm hesitant to claim victory in the gopher wars, BUT!  Two mornings after I pushed ammonia-soaked Bounce softener sheets down 5 gopher holes, there is no new gopher activity in the backyard!

Keep your fingers crossed!  Leda's suggestion just might be working!

P.S.  It only makes sense now, but I didn't occur to me that a gopher hole would only head downward for a short while before it turned sideways.  So, a flexible stick is helpful when cramming those dryer sheets in there.

WOO WOO--

Sammy here--hopefully the score on gopher wars will continue to climb. My human is very happy that it appears the trick is working. Just goes to show, you need to read everything--now if only I could read!

Hi! It's me, Buddy's person!
Hurray! I'm going to try it on my gophers. Notice I said my. They've been here so long they think they are part of the family.

Please keep us all posted!! These little beasties are relentless! If your method works, I'll need to switch from manufacturing our product called the Crittergetter to the ammonia soaked dryer sheet business. Very ingenious idea!
