Hmmm

I wonder if The One Who Who Doesn't Live Here knows that there are balls for throwing in the shiny metal thing. If she does, why is she just sitting there talking to The One Who Never Feeds US?

It's your duty!

If you haven't already, head on over to Corgi Butts blog and vote for your 12 favorite Corgi's to be included in a 2012 calendar to benefit a Corgi rescue organization.

Of course, I'm hoping you will vote for Darby and Pumpkin, but whomever you vote for, VOTE!

It's your duty.  It's your right!

Thank you.

God bless you!

And, God bless America!

Agility with Erika

Erika humored me and took some photos of the girls and me playing around with the TUNNEL and JUMP.

It was a hot evening, and we didn't spend a lot of time out there. But, we both got some fun photos!

Erika heads home to Virginia and her husband this morning.  All of us -- human and canine -- are going to miss our girl.  We had such a good time with her and can't wait for Christmas when we'll see her again!

This weekend so far

New legs to snuggle against

Erika would like me to point out that the spot on her jeans is Pumpkin drool.
Pre-pedicure.  My sister, Erika and I treated ourselves today.

Lights at last night's family and close friends get-together

This morning's sunlight catching things we didn't put away before hittin' the sack last night.

Erika is fascinated by Pumpkin's tongue.  I don't blame her!

Pumpkin looks HUGE in this photo!

There's that tongue -- again!

Neener, neener you East Coasters!

I bet you think you're having all the fun these last several days what with the earthquakes and hurricane you are having.

Well, we on the bottom-most part of the Left Coast have some weather, too!  Thunder clouds!

Does the cloud on the right look like a dog to you, too?
AND, we even have a flash flood warning bleeping across the bottom of the TV screen.  We won't get but sprinkles from it, but about 10 miles east of us in the mountains they will be getting quite a lot of rain.

I'm teasing, but of course, I know that Hurricane Irene is a very serious matter.  My family on the coast of North Carolina is fine.  My niece and my son-in-law in Virginia are just beginning to feel Irene's effects and you in the New England can only wait for her to appear.  I'm praying and thinking good things for everyone in her way.

Yay! Erika is home!

Erika ran off and left her husband and Bonnie to deal with Hurricane Irene while she made a long-planned visit to us here on the Left Coast.

Darby remembered Erika instantly.  Pumpkin stared at her for just a moment, then wiggled all around in her happy-to-meet-you dance.

Both dog-girls are happy to have someone else to cuddle with, and Glenn and I are happy to have our human girl with us again, too.

I might be scarce around here until Erika flies back home to her husband on Tuesday morning.

Stay safe everyone who will be hosting Irene this weekend.
