I have a little boy called Darby too :) he's a pomeranian. I stumbled upon this blog and it drew my eyes because of the name...but your dogs are GORGEOUS. what a fab find for me! :)
Hi, Anonymous. I knew I was giving Darby a name that wouldn't be a clue to her gender, but, I really like the name. I've never known a pomeranian, but think they are very cute. Sarge, the eyes only work on me; not on Glenn and Glenn is the decider of the no-dogs-on-the-bed-policy! Lois, Darby is wonderful. Those eyes!
I got the name Darby from an old movie called Darby O'Gill and the Little People...it stared a very young Sean Connery and was about an old man (called Darby O'Gill) and leprachauns (I'm Irish). My Darby isn't an old man but, being a pom and tiny, I liked the leprachaun connection.
