We had to wait in the "secluded" part of the waiting room,
because she was so nervous and started barking at the other dogs. She was actually shaking. I have a feeling vet appointments are always going to be stressful for Darby not only because of her natural shyness but mainly because she had such difficult procedures done when we were trying to determine the cause of her hypercalcemia.
Once we were in the exam room, she was calmer. And she was just perfect during the exam itself.
She now weighs 31 pounds and was pronounced by Dr. Valerie to be "looking real good!"

31 pounds is a good weight for her! now you'll have to throw the ball more so she can burn more energy not to get overweight :)
poor Darby!! I can imagine it would be traumatic for her to visit the vet after all she has been through. I'm sure treats would help a lot in her liking it better, LOL :)
