For Lois

Faithful reader Lois asked for information about the three-year old yellow ball that I featured in yesterday's post, so I had to take a picture. Sorry, Lois! That white tag and the fact that my sister (Aunt Kathy) bought the ball at a grocery store are all the clues I can offer.

Here for the rest of us, is more (and mostly cleaner!) yellow:

That ball Aunt Kathy bought for Darby sure is sturdy.  It has been outside in the weather, being played with off and on for the last three years and it still bounces!

West Coast Sunday Morning

Here in very southern, Southern California we're feeling the effects of a "weather system" out of the north that is producing huge surf -- 28 foot waves are predicted at a few beaches!  The "system" brought light rain last night and some pretty clouds this morning.

First trip outside.  (We slept late -- usually it's dark for the first trip outside!)

Erika's not the only one with a new raised bed!

Thinkin' homemade pasta for dinner...

Maybe some homegrown, dried peppers in the pasta sauce?

Erika made me do it.
