Sun
For the last few months it has been dark, or almost so, by the time I got home from work. I enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace, lighting candles on the kitchen table and spending the end of the day snuggled inside. But, slowly, the days are getting longer and this last week there was plenty of time after I got home to spend outside in the company of my dog girls and the late afternoon sun.

It was HOT here in NC yesterday, then chilly, clear, and sunny this morning. When I "unleashed the hounds," er corgi boyz, this morning, they were leaping into the air with delight. Then....where's breakfast, Moms ? Love the seasons, crazy though they are :-)
Our days are slowly getting shorter...

Lois, I love seasons, too, and we don't get enough of them here in Southern California. My brother lived in Swansboro, NC and his wife has chosen to stay there after his death. There are definite seasons there, but the summer is just a little too hot and oppressive for me. Daisy, I love thinking about you and your crew down there heading into the opposite season from us up here.
