By now I'm sure most (if not all) of you have heard of the
Pioneer Woman. One of the recurring themes on her blog is the strangeness of her two
Basset Hounds.
Well, in my opinion, Basset Hounds have nothing on Cardigan Welsh Corgis when it comes to strange!
Here -- I'll prove it to you:
Drumsticks on a dog? |
Whatever it is, it looks like its playing dead. |
So strange that I can't think of anything to say. |
The ears. |
Hard to be much more low-slung than this. |
The underside of the drumsticks. |
If you didn't know it was a dog, would you know it was a dog? |
She looks like a giant grub. |
So, her cheeks might not flop like a Basset's, but look at that tongue. And, those cankles. |
At least as strange as the ones on a Basset! |
Another shot that leaves me speechless. Again, if you didn't know it was a dog, would you know it was a dog? |
I rest my case.

I've had a Cardigan in my life for so many years (26+), they look 100% normal to me ;-) However, I can tell by the reaction of people who are seeing a Cardigan for the very first time that our beloved dogs are indeed odd looking!
We'd know it was a dog....cause we all sleep on our backs too!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Scrumptious :-)...I am never more charmed by my Pem boys than when they are either "upside down " or in the flattened platypus pose....Darling, darling, GREAT pics !
