BUT the Monks say they can be taught to stay off unless invited. Of course, they work with German shepherds, not cardigans!!!Boo21's Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17825239123419683907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1398096813313079796.post-43357767178375039612009-12-08T12:05:09.026-08:002009-12-08T12:05:09.026-08:00I second the above comment. In the morning when I go into the bathroom, she walks in then realizes she wants to sit down, so she backs up just enough to put her butt on the carpet. In the kitchen, unless she is actively easting something off the floor, she will lay on the carpet and peer around the dishwasher waiting for food to fall. In the living room, she will not sit on carpet, but prefers to sit on the chair (your chair) or on the couch. The best, the absolute best, is when she can sit ON us. Anything short of that is unacceptable. You will never be able to teach her that the floor she was soo use to is an acceptable alternative to what she now knows as ultimate comfort. Give up now, she will be on the chairs forever. And who cares... dogs are warm and cuddly in the winter :)Snake Oak Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18214987604308123383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1398096813313079796.post-64369499607980451452009-12-08T07:12:30.962-08:002009-12-08T07:12:30.962-08:00Good luck teaching her--she is a Cardigan you know...Good luck teaching her--she is a Cardigan you know ;-)

SammySammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01413641990790706726noreply@blogger.com
