Out of focus

Oh! I wish these photos were in focus!

In both of them, the Pumpkin girl has just one foot on the ground.

I know you have a nice DSLR.... Does it have a bunch of automatic settings that set the aperature and shutter speed for you based on your choice? Like Portrait, Macro, Landscape, etc? Usually they have one for Sports that sets a very fast shutter speed to catch this kind of action w/o blurring it. Of course, if that's what you already had it set on, then I don't know what else to do. My Sports setting is usually pretty good at catching the action. Blurry or not, the girls seem to have really become fast friends...pun intended :-)

Cardi Claus has arrived! Thank you Melissa, Darby, and Pumpkin for both a wonderful gift box and an introduction to your blog! Your girls are darling. I can't wait to read more about them.

Happy Holidays!!

oh, Taryn, my camera DOES have one of those settings, but do you think I would think to use it when the girls are tearing around the yard? Nooooo! I want to take a class so I won't have to rely on that setting, but until then I need to remember all the wonderful shortcuts my really good camera has for me. Thanks for the reminder! It might make a difference!

Julie, you are very welcome for the Cardi Claus package. I hope you and your critters enjoy the contents. (My nicknames for my daughter are "Boo" and "Bug.")

LOVE that first photo...so cute! I know how you feel, it always seems like the best shots are out of focus :( One of these days, I'll actually learn how to use my camera :)
